CauseWay was able to successfully introduce a new iconic look for SmartWay advertising that transitioned away from the long running “Product On Wheels” campaign to the fresh new “Footprint” and now “UnSmartWay/SmartWay” series that targets executives in the retail, beverage and food sectors.
The U.S. EPA SmartWay Transport Partnership has been around since 2004, but interest and understanding of this innovative, collaborative program among prospective companies seemed to be waning as of late. CauseWay was tasked with communicating the brand proposition in an fresh, engaging way. Images of a large [carbon] footprint coupled with the earth quickly convey the emissions-savings benefits of participating.

SmartWay PSA Campaign
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency turned to CauseWay to reposition their light duty (e.g. cars) “green” transportation initiative called SmartWay.
We created this visually-grabbing smiling car that instantly draws readers in and explains the SmartWay brand proposition: fewer emissions, less fuel and more savings.
